International Kabaddi Federation approves World Super Kabaddi League 2025

New Delhi, November 22 (IANS) The International Kabaddi Federation (IKF) has officially given permission to organize the World Super Kabaddi League (WSKL) 2025. The league is being organized in collaboration with Southeast Asian Kabaddi Federation (SEAKF) and Thailand Kabaddi Association.

In a congratulatory message to SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt Ltd, the organizing body of WSKL, IKF appreciated their dedication and vision towards Kabaddi. “Starting a Kabaddi league is no small feat. It requires not only a deep understanding of the game but also exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to promoting this traditional game.”

“Your efforts will inspire young athletes and contribute significantly to the growth and popularity of Kabaddi,” the IKF statement said. The WSKL will feature players from IKF member countries, who will participate in the player auction before taking the field. This will not only provide an opportunity to the players to showcase their skills but will also promote the league as a globally recognized tournament.

In August this year, the South East Asian Kabaddi Federation awarded the full and other rights of organizing the WSKL to SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt Ltd for a period of 15 years, thereby ensuring a long-term vision for the growth and success of the league.

Additionally, the Kabaddi Association of Thailand endorsed SJ Uplift Kabaddi Pvt Ltd as “the sole and exclusive creator, conceptor and rightsholder of the league”. 1XSportz will manage the WSKL and all operations related to the league.
