Jaipur : Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu said in a program in Jaipur that he still stands by the statement he made about Rahul Gandhi. The one who takes back his statement is a coward. The state in-charge of the Congress party is a Sardar, does he not wear a turban? Rahul Gandhi himself goes to Gurudwara Sahib wearing a turban. Who stops him? Give some proof that any Sikh has been stopped from going to the Gurudwara, from wearing a turban or a bracelet. If you give such violent statements, then it is wrong.
Speaking to reporters during a shooting championship organised by the railways at the shooting range in Jagatpura on Monday, Minister of State for Railways Bittu said that Rahul Gandhi wants Sikhs to take up arms again. Our youth should get agitated. Ask Ashok Gehlot who is being stopped. I made the statement because Indira Gandhi attacked Darbar Sahib. Thousands of Sikhs were killed during Rajiv Gandhi’s rule and now it is the third generation.
Bittu said that the respect that a turban and a Sikh get is not given to anyone else, but they are doing this because of the Haryana elections. Because Sikhs have influence on 25-30 seats here. That is why such an atmosphere is being created.
Who knows Rahul Gandhi more than me- Bittu
On the statement made on Rahul Gandhi, Bittu said that if he has a problem then he should come and talk to me. I have come to meet him only. Who knows Rahul Gandhi more than me? This is neither about Congress nor BJP. This is only about Sikhs. The DG of CISF is a Sikh from Punjab, the Chief of the Air Force is a Sikh and I am sitting in front of you. Are they all not wearing turbans?

‘The real chair is Kejriwal’s’
Minister Bitta said about the newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi Atishi that she kept a separate chair in her office and assumed that she is just a dummy. The real chair belongs to Kejriwal. That is why she kept a separate chair.

The workers kept in different police stations were later released. Some workers were taken to Bassi and released in the evening.
Gehlot-Dotasara condemned
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and PCC Chief Govind Dotasara have condemned the detention of the workers. Gehlot said that showing black flags and sloganeering is a part of the democratic process. Dotasara said that it is wrong to detain workers who are protesting peacefully.
