I was a little bud in my garden
She was a dancing angel,
Papa, mummy’s darling,
Was brought up by Nazis, but
I forgot that
I was a girl, a victim of cruel lust,
My soul was screaming,
Was I not also a human being?
I felt guilty when I was torn into pieces,
I have to be a woman? Was I myself a criminal?
