Jaipur : BJP has put all its strength in the by-elections to be held on November 13 on seven assembly seats of Rajasthan, because this is the first test of the Bhajan Lal government of the state. However, senior BJP leader Vasundhara Raje is keeping herself away from the by-elections of these 7 seats on the lines of Lok Sabha elections. Vasundhara Raje has not yet gone to campaign on any seat. In such a situation, the issue of Vasundhara Raje’s enmity with BJP organization and Bhajan Lal government is gaining momentum.
BJP is fighting with full force for the by-elections of Jhunjhunu, Dausa, Devki-Uniara, Khinvsar, Ramgarh, Chaurasi and Salumber seats of Rajasthan. Out of these 7, BJP had only Salumber seat, but the question is about the prestige of Bhajan Lal government. Therefore, the command of each seat in BJP has been handed over to the big leaders of the state including Union Ministers and MPs.
Vasundhara Raje included in the list of star campaigners
The party has also included former CM Vasundhara Raje in the list of star campaigners, but Vasundhara Raje did not visit any by-election seat. It is said that Vasundhara Raje is angry with both the government and the organization. That’s why he is not active at all in the state. Now no leader of the state has any answer to any question asked about Vasundhara Raje. The situation is such that regarding Vasundhara Raje, Rajasthan BJP President Madan Rathore and state in-charge Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal also give different answers regarding Vasundhara’s absence.
The in-charge says, “Vasundhara Raje is a central leader. She is even bigger than me. Her program will be decided by the high command. On the other hand, President Rathore says that Vasundhara Raje’s program will be decided, but Congress is fully enjoying this internal tussle of BJP. Congress leader Pratap Singh says that the stature of no state leader of BJP is as big as Vasundhara, this is the only problem.
However, Vasundhara Raje’s policy of maintaining distance from by-elections is not new. Even during the Lok Sabha elections, she was limited to her son’s constituency only. Even before this, during the assembly elections, Vasundhara had not held any rally or meeting in any assembly constituency.
