Jaipur : These days there is a demand to make Mahwa a new district in Rajasthan. Regarding this, BJP MLA Rajendra Meena has written a letter to Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. In the letter, he has tried to make the CM aware of many important things about Mahwa. It is written in the letter that Mahwa is a major business center of eastern Rajasthan and people from the surrounding area of ​​70 to 80 kilometers come here for shopping. Many of these villages are 100 to 120 kilometers away from the district headquarters, due to which people have to face many problems.

Rajendra Meena said in the letter that Balahadi town located near Mahwa is famous for making copper utensils and it is also quite far from the district headquarters. Mandawar railway station, 2 Krishi Upaj Mandi, 3 Panchayat Samiti, 2 Subdivision Office, 1 CO Circle Office, several police stations and medical facilities are also present here. Despite all this, the district has not been formed yet.

17 new districts were formed in Rajasthan under Gehlot government

It is noteworthy that apart from MLA Rajendra Meena, Bandikui MLA Bhagchand Tankada has also raised the demand of making Bandikui a district in the assembly. The CM has assured to consider the demand of both these MLAs. Let us tell you that 17 new districts were created in Rajasthan during the Gehlot government. The BJP government is reviewing these districts and recently a report in this regard has been submitted to the government. It is being told that a plan is being considered to merge most of these 17 districts back into the old districts. But the government is not able to take the risk of doing this work before the by-elections.

Expenditure on every district of Rajasthan

Last year, there were 33 districts in Rajasthan, which were increased to 50 by adding 17 new districts. On this, CM Bhajan Lal said that about two thousand crores are spent on each district.
