Jodhpur : Priyanka Bishnoi’s relatives and people of the society are adamant on the demand to register a case against the hospital owner and the doctor. The police administration is refusing to register an FIR citing the Supreme Court guidelines. The police explained to the family that first the investigation committee’s report will come, only after that the next decision will be taken. According to the Supreme Court guidelines, if a patient dies during the operation, then the investigation committee will first investigate it. And further legal action will be taken only on the basis of its conclusion.
“The investigation committee did not talk to the victim’s side”
The district collector has formed an investigation committee on Priyanka’s death. The family members have raised questions. They said that only one side has been investigated. Whereas, no one from the victim’s side has been talked to. How will there be a fair investigation? Bishnoi Samaj President Devendra Budia has demanded a CBI investigation into this matter. He directly accused the district collector that the district collector has put his phone on the blacklist. He said that there seems to be a conspiracy in Priyanka Bishnoi’s death. He has demanded a CBI investigation from CM Bhajan Lal Sharma.
People of Bishnai community gathered at AIIMS
Now the crowd of people of Bishnoi community is gradually increasing in AIIMS hospital. They are raising slogans against the police administration. After the private hospital, the police has increased the security arrangements. Many police station officers including Additional SP are also present at the hospital.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma expressed condolences
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma has condoled the death of Priyanka Bishnoi. He wrote on the social media site ‘X’, “The death of Rajasthan Administrative Service officer Priyanka Bishnoi is very sad. I pray to Lord Shri Ram to give a place to the departed soul in his lotus feet and give the family the strength to bear the grief.
Former CM Gehlot expressed grief
Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also expressed condolences. He wrote on social media ‘X’, “The untimely demise of Rajasthan Administrative Service officer Priyanka Bishnoi is very sad. I pray to God for peace of the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the grief.”

RAS officer Priyanka Bishnoi’s health deteriorated during treatment at a private hospital in Jodhpur. Later, the family took Priyanka Bishnoi to Ahmedabad. Where she died during treatment. During treatment in Jodhpur, the doctors were accused of negligence. After which the District Collector had given instructions to investigate against the private hospital of Jodhpur.
