It feels good to make a film about someone who has 100 days to live: Abhishek Bachchan

Mumbai, November 15 (IANS). Actor Abhishek Bachchan talks about the emotional journey of his character in his upcoming film ‘I Want to Talk’ directed by Shoojit Sircar.

The film presents an emotional story of a man who is told he has only 100 days to live. The film delves deeply into topics like death and introspection.

Abhishek told how the story of the film made him think about what kind of experiences a person can go through when diagnosed with such a disease.

The actor said, “When a doctor tells you that you have just 100 days to live, it takes some time to accept and understand.

“Once that’s understood, the real question becomes what do I do with the time I have left? What don’t I want to do? What do I need to eliminate?”

Abhishek highlighted how such a situation forces a person to confront his personal and emotional priorities.

“Will I wake up tomorrow? Will this be my last night? How do I want to live my last night?”

He found it both fascinating and deeply inspiring to contemplate someone’s final days.

He said, “The idea that you’re making a movie about someone who only has 100 days to live sounds good, but when you really sit down and think about it, it’s an amazing mental state to be in.”

‘I Want to Talk’ is the story of a father-daughter relationship, which will release in theaters on November 22. Johnny Lever and Ahilya Bamru also play important roles in the film.

The director and actor duo will be seen in the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ where Abhishek will appear opposite his father Amitabh Bachchan on stage and share some laugh-out-loud moments on the show.
