Kota : Kota is considered to be the top for preparation of medical entrance examinations in Rajasthan. But this time Sikar surpassed it. As this news started reaching the people, various things started being said about the studies of Kota. However, now some such figures have come to the fore, after reading which you will also be surprised, and will also start believing in the studies of Kota and its results. Education expert Dev Sharma told that on the instructions of the Supreme Court, recently the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the result of NEET-UG 2024 exam centers. When these exam results were analyzed, it was found that the number of toppers from the exam centers of Sikar was more than the exam centers of Kota. It is worth noting that this analysis is of the results of the examination centers, which is being mistaken to be considered as the result of the students studying in the city.
‘Studied in Kota but gave exam somewhere else’
Sharma said that after preparing for the whole year in Kota, students go to their home state/city and prefer to give the exam from there. It is clear from this that if the result of Kota’s excellent studies is seen from the point of view of examination center, then it will be counted in the account of the city where the student has given the exam. Students from more than 20 states and union territories of the country come to Kota every year and after preparing for competitive exams here, appear in the exam from the examination center near their home. This is the reason that the result of Kota’s excellent studies is reflected in the entire country.
‘Children are studying online from teachers of Kota’
If we look at the statistics, this time the number of NEET toppers from Sikar exam centre is 149, out of which 131 are from Jaipur and 74 students are from Kota. These are the toppers appearing in the exam at exam centres who can also belong to any other city. Currently, lakhs of students from many states are connected online with Kota coaching system, and are taking guidance on test series and doubt resolution. It is clear to everyone that Kota coaching system is result oriented and it has a direct and indirect participation in the success of every successful student.

For example, Kota-based neurosurgeon Dr Deepak Wadhwa said, “This time, the exam centres for both my sons were in different cities. My son Arpit took the exam in Jaipur and scored 662 marks in NEET-UG, while my other son Aditya took the exam in Kota and scored 610 marks. According to the current analysis, Arpit’s success will be attributed to the exam centre in Jaipur, although he studied in Kota.”
Three times more students appear for exams outside quota
Dev Sharma said that almost three times more students study here than the number of students who appear for the exam at the exam centres in Kota. He says, “It is clear that Kota exam centre cannot be allotted to all the students.” Female candidates are given priority in the allocation of exam centres. In such a situation, male candidates appear for the exam in some other city outside Kota.
‘More than 90% students are eligible for counselling’
Educationist Dev Sharma said, “Under the Kota Coaching System, more than 50 thousand students appeared in the NEET-UG 2024 exam. Out of these, about 90 percent of the students were declared eligible for counseling. The main reason for the success of Delhi Zone in JEE Advanced 2024 is also the Kota Coaching System. Due to the Kota Coaching System, Rajasthan holds a leading position in terms of success in NEET-UG, JEE-Advanced and JEE-Main. IIT All India topper Ved Lahoti in the year 2024 exam result is also a gift of Kota Coaching System.”
