It is not a challenge from Congress, it is a fight between BJP and AAP: Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed

New Delhi, November 22 (IANS). Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday released the first list for the upcoming assembly elections 2025 in Delhi. The party has made Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed the candidate from Seelampur Assembly. Recently he left Congress and joined AAP. After getting the ticket, he talked to IANS.

The AAP candidate said that he will work on health, education and development in Seelampur Assembly. My only issue is development. We are going to elections with this.

The current MLA on this seat is from AAP. Chaudhary Zubair Ahmed has said that work has been done in the assembly in 10 years. But more work is needed. The 200-bed Jagpravesh Chand Hospital was built by my father 20 years ago. The hospital can be further improved. There is a need to expand this hospital to 500 beds. There is a need to improve the dispensary and schools here according to the population. Work needs to be done on the sewer.

In response to a question, he said that government is needed to work. Funds provided by the government are required. There is a fund which is given by the government to the MLA but the government is needed to bring policies. Government will be required to build a 500 bed hospital. If I remain a part of the government, I will be able to work easily. The people here want me to become MLA from Aam Aadmi Party. Joined Aam Aadmi Party on the trust and confidence of the public.

Which party is a challenge for you in the elections? On this he has said that there is no challenge for us. Congress is not a challenge for us from anywhere. There is a fight between BJP and Aam Aadmi Party. Will contest elections in the name of development and no one can hold Arvind Kejriwal’s hand in the matter of development. Arvind Kejriwal’s thinking regarding development is not that of any other leader. In Delhi he gave 200 units of free electricity. Free transportation for women. Marshals were deployed in buses for the safety of women. Will go among the public regarding Kejriwal’s work.
