IT raid on Udaipur transport company, 45 kg gold seized

Udaipur : Income Tax Department has seized 45 kg of gold out of 50 kg recovered from Udaipur Golden Transport and Logistics Company in three days, considering it as undeclared income. At the same time, out of Rs 5 crore, an amount of Rs 4 crore has also been seized as undeclared. The documents of their purchase and the sources of income for purchasing them will also be examined. Apart from this, the department has also seized more documents during the action. Whose investigation is ongoing.

Let us tell you, on November 28, the Income Tax Department had started raids on 23 locations of the transport company including its offices, houses, farm houses and resorts in Udaipur, Jaipur, Banswara, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. The team is investigating the gold and cash worth crores which is continuously being found from the locations of company owner Tikam Singh Rao and his brother Govind Singh Rao. The documents of purchase and the sources of income for purchasing these will also be investigated. On November 29, the second day of the action, 25 kg gold and Rs 3 crore were found from the house of the company owner. Then on November 30, 25 kg gold and Rs 2 crore were found in 7 bank lockers. In this way a total of 50 kg gold and Rs 5 crore in cash were recovered.
