Jaipur : Jaipur JDA has taken major action in the ecological zone and freed the valuable government land from encroachment. This is the biggest action of the JDA enforcement branch in the last years. Deputy Inspector General of Police Kailash Chandra Vishnai said that encroachment was removed from 250 bighas of government land in Ecological Zone Govindpura alias Ropara in Zone-10. The estimated value of encroachment free government land is around Rs 1300 crore. Khasra no. From 1016 to 1019, the tenants had encroached on this land and illegally occupied it with mud walls and fencing. On the report of Deputy Commissioner Zone-10, the enforcement squad removed illegal encroachment from the valuable government land and took possession of JDA.
Two illegal colonies demolished: Apart from this, about 12 bighas near Malii Ki Dhani Gulmohar Garden Colony in Vatika Tehsil Sanganer in Zone-14 and 18 Bighas near Jaichandpura Tehsil Chaksu Kedia Scheme L Block on private agricultural land without JDA’s approval.
