Jaipur: 35-40 percent decline in prices of seasonal vegetables.

Jaipur : Jaipur In the winter season, there is a bumper arrival of green seasonal vegetables from Jaipur and surrounding areas, due to which their prices have come down. The arrival of vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, bathua, radish, cabbage, carrot, peas has increased in Muhana, Joharibazar, Sodala, Lalkothi, Malviyanagar, Vaishalinagar and other markets. Due to this, the prices have fallen by 35-40 percent in the last one month. Yogesh Tanwar, President of Jaipur Fruit and Vegetable Wholesalers Association, Muhana Mandi, said that vegetables are coming from Bassi, Bagru, Tonk and other villages, while oranges from Madhya Pradesh and guavas from Sawaimadhopur are also arriving in abundance. Tomatoes are coming from Nashik, Chaumau, Shivpuri. Peas, capsicum and carrots are coming from Kotputli from Madhya Pradesh.

Strengthens digestion and controls cholesterol: Doctor Dr. Vishal Gupta said that green vegetables are beneficial for health, they are rich in vitamins, iron and fiber. It helps in controlling cholesterol by strengthening the digestive power.

● Fenugreek is rich in fiber, calcium, magnesium, and iron, which is beneficial for digestion and bone health.

● Mustard leaves contain calcium, magnesium, manganese, zinc and soluble fiber along with vitamins A, C, E, which increase immunity.

● Bathua contains iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorus along with vitamins A, C and B, which are good for blood circulation and bone health.

● Turmeric has antioxidant, antibacterial and antibiotic properties.
