Jaipur : winter has started spreading in the capital. Due to cold wind, the temperature has started falling during the night as well as during the day. This has increased the chill. During the last 24 hours in the capital, the minimum temperature dropped slightly to 13.8 degrees and the maximum dropped by 1.2 degrees to 27.0 degrees. The maximum temperature dropped 2.0 degrees below normal. Due to this, the effect of cold has increased even during the day.
Cold increased due to cold wind
Last night was the coldest night of this season in the capital. The cold has suddenly increased due to the cold wind. According to the Meteorological Department, after the recent snowfall in North India, cold wind is blowing towards the plains. There is a possibility of continuous drop in temperature in the next few days. The night temperature was recorded below 10 degrees in Sikar, Fatehpur, Mount Abu, Churu and Sirohi. Sikar was the coldest at 7.2 degrees Celsius.
