The company is identifying around 10 lakh spammers every day with the help of advanced algorithms. Due to this, the company alerted about 25.2 crore customers about spam calls in two and a half months. Due to this, the number of customers answering spam calls has decreased by 12 percent. 6% of all calls received on Airtel were spam calls. Maximum spam calls were from Delhi, Mumbai and Karnataka. According to the report, Delhi customers received the maximum number of spam calls. This was followed by Andhra Pradesh and Western Uttar Pradesh. Maximum spam calls were made from Delhi, Mumbai and Karnataka. Maximum spam SMS were sent from Gujarat, Kolkata and Uttar Pradesh. Customers from Mumbai, Chennai and Gujarat were targeted the most. 76% of spam calls are made to male customers. Customers aged 36 to 60 received 48% of spam calls, while customers aged 26-35 received 26% of the calls. Only 8% of spam calls reached senior citizens.
