Jaipur : Jaipur Controversy has arisen regarding the main and Dhanvantri parking of SMS Hospital built for patients and family members. Both the parking lots have been running without tender for 40 days. On October 9, the tender of JBJ Company, which was handling the parking, ended. After this, the hospital administration neither extended the tender nor took it under its control. Both the parking lots of the hospital continued to operate illegally for 40 days. Now the hospital administration is preparing to hand over the parking to another contractor even after the stay. In such a situation, questions are being raised on the officials that when the parking contract was to be given to another company without tender, then why did the officials not make preparations to give it 40 days in advance? Now, after incurring a loss of Rs 40, why are they giving the responsibility of operating the parking to the company without any tender? A dispute has arisen between the hospital administration and JBJ company regarding this.
The tender has been running for a year now, now the administration is giving it to the favorites.
JBJ Company had taken the tender for both the parking lots three years ago. A year ago the hospital administration issued a tender for parking. Five companies participated in it. A company challenged the terms of the tender in court. The court stayed the issue of new tender and gave the responsibility of operation to the currently operating company. Because of this, the hospital administration cannot issue a new tender, but a case of giving it to another company without a tender has come to light.
Vehicles are parked close to each other on daily basis.
Director; There is a stay from the court, the hospital administration cannot give parking to others, the superintendent; New system will be implemented on parking in a few days
An amount of Rs 1 crore comes to the hospital every year from both the parking lots. Three years ago, both the contracts were awarded for Rs 75 lakh. After increasing by 10% every year, this amount has now reached Rs 1 crore. On the other hand, the hospital administration says that they are going to appoint hospital guards at the parking, whereas the contractor says that if the vehicles are stolen then whose responsibility will be there.
