Jaipur : Jaipur March 5, 2024 The basic safety check campaign launched by oil marketing companies aims to reach more than 12 crore families through door-to-door inspections by trained personnel. This inspection is being done free of cost to the customers for any safety lapse in the LPG installation. Old or non-standard hoses are being replaced with new hoses at discounted prices. So far, more than 8 crore homes have been inspected, with approximately 3.5 crore hoses replaced.
Under this campaign, a cooking competition based on the theme ‘Our Kitchen Our Responsibility’ was organized by the oil marketing companies on Sunday at Government Higher Primary Sanskrit School, Sanganer, Jaipur. The objective of the event was to raise awareness about safety in LPG handling and cooking as well as celebrate the art of cooking. The program was conducted by Yash Pathak, IOC Sales Officer LPG and District Nodal Officer, Jaipur. The 20 women participants in the competition showcased their culinary skills and followed safe LPG handling practices. Deepika Saini, Councilor, Sanganer graced the occasion as the chief guest and a panel of judges including guest of honor Arvind Kumar, Executive Chef, Grand Maple Hotel evaluated the participants on parameters such as LPG safety, quality of dishes, presentation and cleanliness. Detailed information was given to the customers about the safe use of LPG by Nitish Kumar Srivastava, Divisional LPG Sales Head, Jaipur Indane Divisional Office, Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
