Jaipur : Rajasthan’s senior theater artist Dr. Chandradeep Hada has been awarded the Tagore National Scholarship of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India this year. This research work will focus on a survey study topic in the context of disaster management and presentational arts in the art and culture sector of India. This research work was completed over a period of 2 years by interviewing and interacting with classical, folk and modern artists of drama, music and dance styles in the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Goa falling under the jurisdiction of nodal agency West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur. Dr. Chandradeep Hada said that in this research work, special support will be given to the Government of India in making a policy by compiling the important suggestions and solutions received after interviewing the eminent artists of the country so that there can be relief from man-made disasters like Corona and natural disasters. It is time that the country’s performing arts continue to receive patronage and artists continue to receive encouragement along with security. The suggestions and solutions received from the enlightened and popular artists of the country will be included in this research work through a survey form.
Dr. Hada also told that during the time of Covid, the entire country saw a terrible situation. At this time the arts and artists of the country had to face very serious problems. The aim of dealing with the dire situations of future disasters has inspired me to do this type of research work. I believe that this research work as an initiative will inspire and encourage the researchers of India to continue working in this direction.
For this research work, a panel of special and expert artists related to the art and culture world of the country has also been formed, which includes Mohan Veena player, Padma Bhushan Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt awarded with the Grammy Award, Kalbelia dancer Padmashree Gulabo Sapera, senior theater artiste Bhanu Bharti. , M.K.
