This was the reason for the low temperature
Weather experts say that this time the reason behind the low temperature is the continuous arrival of Western Disturbances (WD) one after the other. Last season the first Western Disturbances arrived in the first week of November. There was a gap of several days in the second arrival, due to which there was influence of northern wind at that time.
The temperature had reached single digits in Shekhawati.
By 16-17 November 2023, the minimum night temperature had come down to 10 degrees Celsius and below. Last year, on November 16, the minimum temperature was recorded in Shekhawati’s Sikar (7.5 degrees Celsius), Churu (9.4 degrees Celsius), Fatehpur (7.2 degrees Celsius). Back to Back Western Disturbances
The way back to back Western Disturbances are coming in the first 15 days of November. It started snowing on time. Seeing this, weather experts predict that there may be a good winter this season (December-January). Senior Scientist of Jaipur Meteorological Center, Himanshu Sharma said- We had released the forecast in October. In that too we had said that the temperature would be above average in November. This forecast is standing. The biggest reason behind the absence of winter is the absence of active western disturbance. Which are not passing through our area (North India) right now. Another western disturbance is coming in the next day or two. In the coming time, the minimum temperature will drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in four-five days.
