Jaipur fog hasn’t started yet, but trains are already late by hours

Jaipur : Jaipur Railways conducts new experiments every year for the safety and punctuality of trains. Crores of rupees are spent on this. Because the expenditure is incurred in the name of safety of trains, there is no accountability for it. Despite all this, like every time, trains are running late by hours this time too. Fog has started falling in North India. Although according to the Meteorological Department, the fog is less now, dense fog will start from mid-December. But in Jaipur for the last three days, about 10 trains are arriving late by 2 to 7 hours. On Wednesday, 03510 Khatipura-Asansol special from Jaipur could leave at 8:30 pm instead of 2:30 pm, with a delay of 6 hours.

Whereas 12976 Jaipur-Mysore left at 9 pm instead of 7:35 pm. But like every time, the Railways did not consider it appropriate to inform the passengers about this in advance. Due to this, more than 1800 passengers going from Jaipur to Agra, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Patna and Kota, Ujjain, Bhopal, Nagpur had to face a lot of trouble. This time, about 10 trains belonging to North Western Railway have been cancelled/partially cancelled. Have done. But despite this, North Western Railway remains first in the country in train punctuality. The main reason for this is that the trains which reach North Western Railways including Jaipur late by hours, but on their return, North Western Railways removes them from the zone on time. That means the train does not get late on the account of this railway.

At the same time, there is not much fog in Rajasthan, due to which all the trains of North Western Railway leave from their jurisdiction on time. Purohit says that the maximum number of canceled trains are from NR (Delhi), NCR (Allahabad), NER (Gorakhpur) and Eastern Railway (Kolkata). It is noteworthy that maximum trains are delayed in Jaipur to Delhi, Mathura, Agra and Jaipur to Sawaimadhopur, Indragarh, Sumerganjmandi sections.

Operation of more than 2200 trains is affected every year in the country.

Train operation experts DP Mishra and Ashish Purohit say that every year the operation of more than 2200 trains across the country is affected due to fog. Because out of these, about 400 trains are completely canceled for 2-3 months. Around 600 trains have been partially cancelled. Rest of the other trains are short terminated.
