Jaipur Gogamedi murder accused asked for phone facility from jail, application rejected

Jaipur : Jaipur In the case of Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi murder case, the special court of NIA cases of the city has demanded the facility of making the accused Nitin Fauji, Ramveer and Udham Singh, lodged in the high security jail of Ajmer, talk on phone from jail and accused the jail administration. The applications were rejected. In these applications, the jail administration was accused of not allowing them to talk and meet family members through STD phones.

The court said that it has spoken to the family members of accused Udham Singh, whereas Nitin and Ramveer have not submitted an application to the jail administration to meet the family members. The phone facility has been closed due to the accused being charged under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act. Therefore the application of the accused deserves to be rejected. The accused said that the jail administration had made them talk to their family members in the month of August. After this, neither the family members were talked to nor met.
