Jaipur : After the initiative of the traders in the campaign to make the markets of Jaipur city encroachment free, now the Heritage Municipal Corporation has also woken up. Corporation vigilance squad reached the markets of Parkote on Thursday. The corporation squad, which arrived with heavy force, has started taking strict action in the market. Temporary encroachment was removed and goods were also confiscated from some places.

Deputy Commissioner Vigilance Pushpendra Singh Rathod said that temporary encroachment has been removed from Chhoti Chowpar, Badi Chowpar, Kishanpol Bazaar, Ramganj, Tripolia, Chaura Rasta. Seeing the corporation squad, there was panic among the encroachers. People started collecting belongings from verandahs and footpaths. As Japta progressed, people themselves started removing the encroachment. Meanwhile, the corporation squad started seizing goods from wherever they found encroachment on verandahs, footpaths and roads. Apart from the wall, the corporation squad also took action in the railway station and Hasanpura area. There is full focus on making the city encroachment free and clean. The city will be beautiful only when it is free from encroachment. The action to remove encroachment will be taken equally in all the markets.
