Jaipur Heritage Mayor Munesh Gurjar left his car, know what is the big reason

Jaipur : After sanctioning prosecution against Jaipur Heritage Corporation Mayor Munesh Gurjar, there has been a stir among BJP councillors. Here, Munesh Gurjar has also realized that the Mayor’s chair is not for long now. In such a situation, he sent a government car to the corporation headquarters on Monday morning. The car remained parked at the corporation headquarters and the Mayor also did not come to the corporation. Here, on Monday, BJP’s OBC women councillors were engaged in mobilization. Six councillors are from OBC origin. These include Kusum Yadav, Lalita Jaiswal, Kapila Kumawat, Sonal Jangid, Babita Kanwar and Barkha Saini. There is a direct contest between three of these councillors for the acting mayor. These councillors met senior leaders from the BJP’s state office to their homes. It is believed that the government can make one of the BJP’s OBC women councillors the acting mayor. Congress does not have an absolute majority in the board.

Fear of cross voting

The caretaker BJP will need 50 councillors to form its board. BJP has 42 councillors. In such a situation, eight more councillors will be needed. Many Congress councillors are angry over not forming committees. Many have openly opposed their own mayor. In such a situation, there is a possibility of cross voting.

Acting Mayor, this will be the math of the councillors

-With the suspension of Munesh Gurjar in the Heritage Corporation which has 100 councillors, his membership will be in danger. In such a situation, only 99 councillors will remain in the board. Congress will have 46 councillors and BJP has 42 councillors.
-When voting took place for the post of Mayor, nine independents were with the Congress and two had the support of BJP.
