The condition imposed by the funding agency regarding water reservation in the dam has also been fulfilled and the proposal has been sent to the Government of India. The potential cost of laying the line is also increasing with time.
At present, The pressure of the existing pipeline is being reduced by pumping water twice at Renwal and Balawala. This is avoiding the possibility of leakage, but it is not a permanent solution. According to the information, 37 leaks were identified in the existing pipeline, which have been repaired with jacketing technology. Engineers claim that this line will remain safe for two years, but the possibility of leakage cannot be completely eliminated.coming In time, water supply will be started in Prithviraj Nagar Phase-2, Jagatpura Phase-2 and Kho Nagoriyan Phase-2 projects of Jaipur. The demand for water in the city is also increasing day by day. In view of the increasing pressure on the existing 2300 mm pipeline, engineers want to arrange funds for the new pipeline as soon as possible.
