Jaipur : Jaipur Development Authority squad took action at two different places on Wednesday and demolished the illegal construction works with the help of JCB. EO Vikram Singh of JDA Zone 13 said that on the basis of the complaint of the villagers, the colony being established illegally on the land of river drains in the name of Balaji Vihar 11 before Chhanwar Ka Vaas Mandir of Gram Panchayat Nangal Purohitan was demolished. The EO said that the colony was being established without the permission of JDA. Whereas the local complainants said that the said colony was being established on the land of rivers and drains. At the same time, the measurement of the colony is also such that it is being settled on the land of rivers and drains, where some of the construction work done was demolished.
However, the local people also raised objection over the incomplete action and the roads laid in the colony were not uprooted and only nominal action was taken. Nangal Purohitan resident Ramsharan Meena said that we have complained to JDA several times about the illegal construction work being done on the land of river drains. Despite that, the construction work is going on in full swing. When JDA personnel reached the spot, about 50 people were still engaged in construction work. The second action was taken in Basai Jari Colony in the name of Shyam Vihar Extension in Mothu Ka Vaas. JDA also demolished the colony being established in about 5 bighas. The roads and construction work laid in the colony were demolished with the help of JCB.
