Jaipur Mayor Munesh Gurjar now has only 3 days time, notice issued

Jaipur : Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor Munesh Gurjar’s troubles have increased further. Mayor Munesh Gurjar has been accused of corruption after ACB’s action. At the same time, efforts are being made to remove Mayor Munesh Gurjar from the post. Under this, UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra had also said that the mayor will be removed from the post as soon as the ACB’s challan comes. At the same time, Mayor Munesh Gurjar has now been given three days’ time. The Local Bodies Department has issued a notice to Mayor Munesh Gurjar. In this notice, Munesh Gurjar has been asked to appear with all the documents. Also, he has been asked to present his side in the corruption case.

Three days’ time has been given

Vinod Purohit, Deputy Director of Local Bodies Department has issued a notice to Mayor Munesh Gurjar and asked for a reply within three days. It has also been said that if a reply is not given within three days, the investigation proceedings will be considered complete. Munesh has been asked to appear with all the evidence and documents. He has also been asked to present his side on the matter of taking bribe in exchange for the lease.

The court has given 2 weeks time

The Rajasthan High Court has ordered to present the challan against Jaipur Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor Munesh Gurjar on September 9. The court has given two weeks time to ACB for this. It is believed that as soon as the challan is presented, Munesh Gurjar will be stripped of the post of Mayor. Along with this, he can also be arrested. Regarding this, UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra has said that ACB will present the challan against the Mayor in the court, along with that the Mayor will be suspended from his post. After removing Munesh Gurjar from his post, the government will temporarily hand over the charge of Mayor to one of the current councilors for 60 days.
