Jaipur New drainage line in Muralipura, Vidyadhar Nagar, colonies will not be filled with water.

Jaipur : Jaipur There is a relief news for about 20 lakh people living in 200 colonies. After the main line drainage project being built on Sikar Road at a cost of about Rs 36 crore, JDA has now prepared a plan to lay new drainage for the inner areas in Murlipura, VKI and Vidyadhar Nagar. About Rs 50 crore will be spent on this entire project. At present, approval has also been received from the financial branch for this project. After the completion of the project, about 200 colonies of this area will get relief from the problem of waterlogging during rains. It is noteworthy that in these areas the older lines have been damaged. Due to less capacity, colonies keep getting filled with water during rains. To get rid of this problem, JDA is preparing to lay new lines on 40, 60, 80 and 100 feet wide roads using the old lines.

Ambabadi area from NH-48 remains filled with water.

During monsoon, the colonies from NH-48 to Ambabadi, Murlipura, VKI, Road No. 5, Bhavani Niketan, on the right side of Sikar Road, from Chamun Pulia to Pulia No. 14 remain filled with water. JDA will lay 20-25 km long drainage line. This will cover 1095 hectare area. In this, by laying one to one and a half meter wide line and connecting it to the line of Sikar Road, the rain water will be drained from Ambabadi into Hote Dravyavati.
