218 contractual workers working in Jaipur : Jaipur Labor Welfare Board, Labor Department for the last 10 years have become unemployed. There is opposition from the employees. The employees allege that due to the apathy of the department, the contract was not renewed in time. The situation is such that the labor offices in the districts of the department have become locked. This is affecting work, workers are not able to get the benefits of public welfare schemes of the board on time. The affected employees started a fast by staging a dharna at the Headquarters Shram Bhawan on Thursday. The aggrieved employees told that in this regard a memorandum has been given to the Chief Minister’s Office, BJP State President Madan Rathod, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Dr. Premchand Bairwa. On Thursday, the employees also met State General Secretary Mukesh Dadhich at the BJP office. The General Secretary assured that no one will lose his job.
Like the Labor Department, the youth in Rajasthan Skill and Livelihood Development Corporation (RSLDC) too are having to bear the brunt of the mistakes of the subordinate personnel. Training is stuck at skill centers across the state. In fact, the authorities even gave additional targets to the institutions for training the youth. But the subordinate employees of the corporation delayed the entire process. Due to this the contracts of the institutions ended. Thousands of youth of the state are having to bear the brunt of the mistake of the scheme officer.
