Till now, outsiders had to pay an annual fee of Rs 300 to visit this track, but the Sports Council is going to start the paid and play scheme again. If the committee’s recommendation is accepted, then a fee of Rs 300 will now have to be paid monthly, so that its maintenance can be done in a better way.
However, this facility is free for state level players and beginners will have to pay some part of this amount. In fact, at the end of 2022, the Congress government had removed the ‘Paid and Play’ scheme, but now the exercise to re-implement it has started in the Sports Council. For this, a committee has been formed, whose chairman has been made District Sports Officer Karan Singh. After brainstorming with his committee members, he will submit a report to the Secretary of the Sports Council.
