Jaipur : DLB of Jaipur Autonomous Government Department took away the work of National Livelihood Mission from hundreds of people including 345 officers. Cited that the scheme itself has been stopped. Didn’t take it further. Services are terminated. The work of the same NULM scheme is still going on in many cities of the state. Its work needs to be done as per the norms of NULM. But the officers who got it done were fired. The second flaw was that suddenly 213 bodies were told that not a single penny would be received from NULM. At your level, make arrangements for night shelters, water, toilets, blankets, quilts etc. in all cities and towns during winter. On November 18, DLB issued an order that commissioners and executive officers of all bodies should follow its orders. The De-NULM scheme of the Government of India has been discontinued.
Under the scheme, the services of all the employees of Shakti Co-operative Society Jaipur have been terminated. On Monday, DLB issued an order to ensure that there is no loss of life due to extreme cold, hence night shelters are to be operated in winter season under the National Livelihood Mission (NULM). DLB Director Kumar Pal Gautam says that there was cooperation under the mission for 5 years. That’s over. Now the civic bodies have to do the work of running night shelters at their own level. Now ULB will run night shelters. The guideline will be of Livelihood Mission. Even now work is going on in 6 bodies of the mission.
