Jaipur News Desk: Jaipur Rural Police on Thursday raided 8 places and arrested 10 people on complaints of selling drugs to students near schools and colleges. Police recovered huge quantity of ganja, doda from the arrested accused. Poppy and drugs have been recovered. Jaipur Rural SP Anand Sharma said that due to continuous complaints of selling drugs to students, under the supervision of Additional SP Rajneesh Punian and Deputy SP Khalil Ahmed, police station officers of Chandwaji, Raisar, Andhi, Jamvaramgarh, Manoharpur, Shahpura, Amarsar and Renwal Manjhi. Special teams were formed under the leadership.
The said teams caught the suspects near schools, colleges and universities. The arrested smugglers Ravi Prakash Sharma and Arvind Sharma are residents of Bobadi Raisar, Sitaram Saini Nathawala Shahpura and Shravan Raigar Chandwaji. Police seized 2.5 kg of ganja, 850 grams of Doda from Ravi, 250 grams of ganja from Arvind, 18 grams of ganja from Sitaram, 1088 Tromadol capsules from Shravan and registered a case under the NDPS Act. Inquiries are being made regarding the bringing and supply of drugs.
