Jaipur Protest in Jaipur against Hindu oppression and genocide in Bangladesh

Jaipur : Jaipur This is not the time to be divided on caste lines, but to show unity. Everyone should demonstrate their strength together. The Central Government, the United Nations and the Human Rights Council should raise this serious issue and find a solution. These views were expressed in the demonstration of Sarva Hindu Samaj organized at Badi Chowpar on Wednesday in protest against the genocide and Hindu oppression taking place in Bangladesh. In the demonstration, displeasure was expressed over the arrest of ISKCON temple saint Chinmoy Krishna Das. Amidst chants of Jai Shri Ram, demands for strict action against the Bangladesh government were raised.

Saint-Mahant, public representatives participated

People from all sections of the society including saints, mahants, public representatives, youth, mother power participated in the demonstration. MLA Gopal Sharma, Balmukundacharya, Heritage Corporation Mayor Kusum Yadav and BJP leader Ravi Nayyar also sat on dharna with the people. Everyone was holding the saffron flag in one hand and placards with slogans in the other hand. It was written on them ‘Save Hindus in Bangladesh’, ‘Dharmo Rakshati Rakshit: Farewell to caste, Hindu-Hindu brothers.’

Muslim organization also expressed protest

Organizations of all Hindu communities demanded that the central government should talk to the Bangladesh government for the safety of Hindus. During the demonstration, a memorandum addressed to the President of India, the Prime Minister and the United Nations Secretary General was read out. The protest ended with mass recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. Muslim organization World Organization of Religion and Knowledge Rajasthan Chapter also organized a meeting on Sahakar Marg to protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Spokesman Syed Asghar Ali said atrocities on minorities in any country shows the failure of the government. He demanded the central government to intervene and immediately stop bilateral trade with Bangladesh. State in-charge Laik Hasan, Mohammad Rashid, Mohammad Shaheed and Lubena Firdous also addressed this meeting. Also sent a complaint letter to the Human Rights Commission.

Solidarity of societies, support of protest

Rajput Sabha Jaipur President Ramsingh Chandlai said that the government of Bangladesh should strictly stop the atrocities on Hindus. Mahant Vishnu Naga called it a conspiracy of leftists and Islamic fundamentalists. Chandraprakash Khetani of Sindhi community and Jasbir Singh of Sikh community demanded intervention from global organizations. Swami Raghavendracharya said that a global campaign should be launched for the release of Saint Chinmay Krishna of ISKCON. Satyanarayan Denwal of Valmiki Samaj, Devnarayan Gurjar of Gurjar Samaj, Roshan Saini of Mali Samaj, Jaipur Trade Federation President Subhash Goyal, Manish Das, Sant Amarnath and Mahant Rakeshdas also shared their views.
