Jaipur : On Wednesday, there was a collision between youths riding a scooter and a pickup carrying carrots near the police station turn on the Jaipur Andhi-Dausa-Manoharpur highway. The collision was so strong that all three youths jumped 35 feet and fell away. A young man jumped over the railing of the flyover and fell down. Hearing the sound of the explosion, a crowd gathered. Before the ambulance could reach, two youths died on the spot and the villagers gave CPR to the third youth who had fallen from the flyover but he also died after a few minutes. According to the police, the scooter rider Dilraj Meena (25), Ranveer Meena (22) of Rohra Kalan Dausa and Vishnu Meena (27) of Barwa (Bassi) died. Dilraj and Vishnu were the sons of maternal uncle and aunt and Ranveer was Dilraj’s friend and neighbor.
Second accident in 15 days
This is the second road accident on the slope of a culvert on the highway in the last fortnight. Earlier on November 6, two youths had died in a collision with a speeding pickup near the same culvert.
