Jaipur See the journey of the Constitution in the Digital Museum from today, 22 chapters will be shown

Jaipur : People of Jaipur city will be able to see all the information related to the Constitution and the research done on it in the digital museum of the Legislative Assembly. A 14 feet wide and 16 feet long gallery has been built here. The government will inaugurate the ‘Samvidhan Gallery’ on the occasion of Constitution Day on 26th November. ​This exhibition of the Constitution written in 22 chapters has been showcased through 32 panels. Here visitors, students and researchers will get to know about the seal of the Constituent Assembly, the national song and the final decision taken by the Constituent Assembly on the national anthem, the participation of Rajasthan, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. Besides, information will also be given about the various committees formed for drafting the Constitution. Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani will inaugurate the gallery. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie etc. will be present on this occasion. Advocate Surya Pratap Singh Rajawat has been made the nominated member of this digital museum of the Legislative Assembly. He has done research on the Constitution.

The Constitution of India was written by Prem Bihari Narayan Raizada with his own hands. It was written in italic style. It took more than six months to write it. Raizada used a 254 pen nib. These nibs were imported from England. He did not charge any fee for writing. In return, his name was written on every page. The work of decorating the Constitution was done by the painters of Shantiniketan. You can buy a hand written copy of the Constitution from the Khadi India Office located at the Old Parliament House and Connaught Place in Delhi. These are in Hindi and English languages. Also available in 2 sizes. The small copy is Rs 800 and the big copy is Rs 1200.

Constitution written in 2 years 11 months 17 days

BR Ambedkar prepared the Constitution on the basis of suggestions from 21 committees and sub-committees in 2 years, 11 months and 17 days. While Prem Bihari Narayan Raizada has written it in English, it has been scripted in Hindi by Vasant Krishna Vaid of Nagpur. It has now been translated into 15 other languages.

Scenes of Ram, Sita and Lakshman returning home in the original Constitution

Surya Pratap Singh Rajawat told that in the original Constitution, the scenes of Ram and Sita and Lakshman coming back home from exile from the Ramayana, scenes of the sermon of Gita given by Krishna to Arjun in the Kuru region are also depicted. Similarly, scenes from the lives of Gautam Buddha and Mahavir, the auditorium of Emperor Ashoka and Vikramaditya are found in the original Constitution. Apart from this, pictures of Akbar, Shivaji, Guru Gobind Singh, Tipu Sultan and Rani Lakshmibai are also in the original constitution. The scene of the freedom struggle has been depicted in Mahatma Gandhi’s Dandi March. Similarly, the efforts of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to liberate Mother India are depicted in the original Constitution.
