Jaipur : Police in Jaipur Rural, Kotputli-Behror and Dausa areas have arrested 21 people who uploaded photos and videos with weapons on social media. These include some gangsters along with their followers. According to the police, these gangsters used to extort extortion from people by operating their gangs through social media. The police conducted operation ‘Arsh se Farsh Par’. Suspects active on various social media platforms were identified and action was taken against them. Cases were registered against ten accused under the Arms Act, on whose information two country-made pistols, one country-made pistol and one country-made pauna were recovered. Action was taken against the criminals who were misleading the youth on social media and extorting money by creating fear. Such campaigns will be continued in future also.
Anshu Singh, resident of Mandhan, Kotputli-Behror, Ashok alias SP Gurjar and Moti Pehalwan, resident of Sarund, Amit Singh, resident of Beri Dam, Dharampal Saini, resident of Virat Nagar, Ravindra alias Billu, resident of Basdayal, Karan Singh, resident of Chatrapura, Sachin Yadav, resident of Behror and Amarsar of Jaipur Rural. Resident Deepak Bunkar has been arrested under the Arts Act. At the same time, under the Indian Civil Security Code, 2023, Jagdish Prasad Gurjar, Ashok Kumar Gurjar, Karan Singh, Nitin Gurjar, Omprakash Gurjar, Rahul Gurjar, Rakesh Gurjar, Rahul Saini, Sachin Yadav, Raj Kasana and Rahul alias Mahipal Gurjar are included.
