Jaipur : Police reached the homes of the students late on Tuesday night to restrain the students who were demanding cancellation of the examination after the Jaipur Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Examination-2021 paper leak case. The police brought a student resident of Mahavir Nagar along with them in the vehicle, while they reached the house of another student to raid. The student and his family did not open the gate and informed Cabinet Minister Dr. Kirori Lal Meena. Late in the night, Minister Meena reached the student’s house. A lady police officer was trying to open the gate of the house. At the same time, the minister reprimanded the police officer for forcibly entering the house late at night and asked the reason for coming into the house. At the same time, expressed displeasure over bringing the girl student sitting in the police vehicle without her family. There was a heated argument between the lady police station officer and minister Meena regarding the action. Minister Meena asked the police station officer to come out of the house. In a video viral on social media, a student minister is seen telling Meena from the window of her house that the police have locked her gate. This video is of Vikas Vidhuri. Vidhuri told that the police entered the house by jumping the gate and later locked it from outside.
In the paper leak case of SI Recruitment Exam 2021, SOG has recommended cancellation of the exam. Paper was leaked at many levels in the examination and many gangs were active behind it. A large number of candidates were selected by sitting dummy candidates and by copying. So far, SOG has arrested 50 trainee police officers and more than 30 gang members. One current and one former member of RPSC has also been arrested. The government has not yet decided whether to cancel the examination or not.
