Jaipur : Jaipur There has been a change in the eating habits of foreign tourists coming to Jaipur in the last two years. Whereas earlier tourists used to demand traditional bread-butter-toast and black coffee for breakfast, now they are enjoying Rajasthani flavors in breakfast. Tour operators and hotel operators are also changing the breakfast menu considering the demand of foreign tourists. According to Mahendra Singh Rathod, President of Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators, most of the foreign tourists coming to Jaipur leave for the tour at 9 in the morning. Before this they like to have breakfast. They are offered bread-butter-toast, black coffee by hotels and restaurants. Instead of this, they are now taking paratha, poha and upma with curd mixed with salt and cumin as their first choice. Some tourists do not eat food while sight-seeing. In such a situation, they demand puri-sabzi for breakfast.
Vegetarian food throughout the tour
According to tour operators, in the last two years it has been observed that foreign tourists, while visiting Jaipur, focus on eating vegetarian food throughout the tour. Whereas till some time ago tourists used to ask for non-veg food once in a while. When they are asked about non-veg in the hotel, they say that it is available in abundance in our country only. Will eat only vegetarian food as long as we are here.
Youth are also getting employment
