Jaipur : Jaipur Devotees chanting Jai Siyaram, Jai Hanuman, Bajrangbali. The temple complex drenched in lights, the smell of charming flowers, attractive tableaux and crowds of devotees. A similar scene was seen at the 64th Lakhi Annakoot Mahotsav at Hanuman Temple in Khole on Sunday. The Pangat Prasadi phase, which started in the afternoon, continued till night. People of all religions accepted Prasadi. More than two and a quarter lakh devotees received Pangat Prasadi of more than one thousand quintals of food items. Along with this, a glimpse of communal harmony was also seen in the program.
General Secretary Brijmohan Sharma said that in Annakoot, along with moong, chaula, millet, rice, vegetables, curry, semolina pudding and bhujiya were also included in the prasad. Along with Panchamrit Abhishek of the Lord, a 40 kg silver dress and mace were made to be worn. Saints and Mahants of major temples of the city performed Aarti of Pawanputra and at the end a felicitation program took place. Yuvacharya Pandit Yogesh Sharma of Kale Hanuman Ji Temple, Saint Ramrichpal Das of Triveni Dham and other saints participated.
Narwar Ashram Seva Samiti opened and welcomed the saints on behalf of Hanumanji Pranyas. Laxman offered Annakoot in 61 nearby temples including Shri Ram, Hanumanji, Annapurna, Gayatri Mata, Vaishnomata, Dwadash Jyotirlinga, sitting on the peak of Dungri. The tableau of Chhappan Bhog was also decorated. Committee Chairman Girdhari Lal Sharma said that the tableau of fruits and vegetables of Hanuman ji, food of Anandeshwar Mahadev, Chhappan Bhog of Siyaram Maharaj and laddus of Ganesh ji were the center of attraction. Chhappan Bhog and Annakoot Prasad were also offered at Haddi Shah Baba’s tomb. The students of Veda Vidyalaya recited the hymns of the Vedas. Harinam Sankirtan was performed by Shiv Satsang Mandal. About four thousand workers handled the arrangements in 13 sections of the event.
