On Friday, after MLA Kalicharan Saraf’s health suddenly deteriorated, he was immediately brought to SMS Hospital. Meanwhile, Principal Dr Deepak Maheshwari said in a statement that there was no senior doctor present in the ICU at night during the MLA’s treatment, so he had to write the test himself. Along with this, he also alleged that wheelchairs were not available, on which the MLA promised to provide 10 wheelchairs from the hospital administration.Dr. After this statement of Maheshwari, Dr. Bhavana Sharma, head of Neurology Department, got angry. He wrote a letter saying that the matter of there not being a senior doctor in the ICU is completely fabricated. According to Dr. Sharma, Dr. Shailesh Dixit, leading expert of Neurology Department, associate professor Dr. Rahul Gupta, senior resident Dr. Sonali and other staff members were present on duty at that time. Not only this, Dr. Dixit himself had come with him from the MLA’s house.
The MLA was not in a position to sit on a wheelchair. I myself had seen him before coming to the hospital. Only those who spread such things will know the purpose for which such things were spread. It was not possible to put my father in a wheelchair; he had to be taken to the bed in an ambulance trolley. I myself was with him. We don’t know who gave this wrong information. I am surprised that I have been included in this matter. How can I make such a statement? Please keep me out of this matter.
