Jaipur : Jaipur: Rajasthan, which is on the first position in the auction of precious mineral mines in the country, will soon auction more mines of gold, copper, siliceous earth and lime stone. Rajasthan is currently on the first position by auctioning 86 mines of precious metals. The state government will earn Rs 2.65 lakh crore from these mines in 50 years. It is being told that the government will get additional revenue of about Rs 1 lakh crore in 50 years from the auction of 20 more mines. This will give wings to investment.
82 types of minerals are present in Rajasthan. Out of these, 57 types of minerals are currently being mined. The process of auctioning major minerals in the country is going on since 2016-17. In the first year, only 3 mines could be auctioned in the state. This phase remained slow till the year 2022-23, but has increased from 2023-24. In the current year, a record 86 mines have been auctioned by auctioning 32 mining leases and composite licenses. Now the auction process of 20 more mines has started. Of the 86 mines that have been auctioned in the first phase, minerals were discovered in 72 mines at the level of the Mines Department, in 12 by the Geological Survey of India and in 2 by Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited.

Nagaur 39 in Uttar Pradesh, 11 in Beawar, 6 in Jaisalmer, 5 in Banswara, 4 each in Sikar, Karauli and Chittorgarh, 3 each in Udaipur and Bhilwara, 2 each in Jhunjhunu and Jaipur, one each in Kota, Rajsamand and Barmer.

mines department has started the process of auction of 20 mines, out of which 17 mining leases and 3 composite license blocks will be given. These mines are of gold, copper, manganese, limestone and silicosis earth.
Rajasthan is first and Madhya Pradesh is third in major mineral mine auction.
And 122 mineral blocks are marked as being blocked.
Country Rajasthan ranks first in the auction of major mineral mines. So far, 86 mines in the state have been allotted through auction in an area of 19260 hectares. Whereas in Madhya Pradesh, 75 mines have been given through auction in an area of 14786 hectares. Odisha is at third place, where 48 mines have been given in an area of 12600 hectares.State 122 blocks of precious minerals are being identified in the coming days. The blocks which will be given composite licenses will first do mineral exploration and then will be able to do mining.
