Jaipur’s 297th birthday was celebrated, Mayor Kusum Yadav danced on Rajasthani tunes.

Jaipur : Jaipur On Monday, Jaipur celebrated its 297th birthday in a unique way. On this occasion, a cultural program was organized by Heritage Nagar at Albert Hall on Monday night. Here the folk artists of Rajasthan made such a splash. The entire atmosphere got absorbed in the beauty of Pink City. In this program organized in the name of Jaipur Lokrang Utsav, folk artists of Rajasthan presented a glimpse of Rang Rangilo Rajasthan in front of everyone. Hundreds of people enjoyed the program and celebrated the birthday of Jaipur. On this occasion, Heritage Municipal Corporation Mayor Kusum Yadav also did not miss a dance. He danced on Rajasthani tunes with the audience and artistes, which was appreciated by all.

Heritage Corporation Mayor Kusum Yadav said – Jaipur celebration program is being organized continuously for the last one month on the completion of 297 years of Pink City. Jaipur Lokrang Utsav was organized to conclude the celebrations on Monday. During this time, more than 150 Rajasthani artists gave a spectacular presentation and won the hearts of the city residents by realizing the Rajasthani folk culture. MLA Gopal Sharma, MLA candidate Chandra Mohan Batwada, Greater Mayor Dr. Soumya Gurjar, Deputy Mayor Puneet Karnawat and councilors and officials were present in the program.

Rajasthani artists gave different presentations

Heritage Corporation Commissioner Arun Hasija said that on the occasion of the establishment of Jaipur, Rajasthani artists gave various performances in the Jaipur Lokrang Utsav organized by the Heritage Corporation. In these, Chari dance, Umrao, Shahriya dance, Chang Dhamaal, Ghoomar dance, Bhavai dance were presented. Kalbelia dancer Padmashree Gulabo Sapera’s Kalbelia dance enthralled the audience. Apart from this, super star singer Thanu Kha forced the audience to dance by singing Rajasthani songs. Grand fireworks were also done at the end of the program.

Diya Kumari participated in lamp donation at Statue Circle

Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari reached Statue Circle to celebrate Jaipur Foundation Day. Congratulating and best wishes to the people of Jaipur in the lamp donation and lighting program organized at Statue Circle on behalf of Municipal Corporation Greater Jaipur, he said – Jaipur is one of the best and planned cities in the world. It is included in UNESCO’s World Heritage. This is a city which was established by Sawai Jai Singh II on 18 November 1727 in a completely scientific manner and on the basis of Vaastu Shastra. Along with preserving the historical heritage of Jaipur, the state government is working with commitment for modern development here. He said- Development works worth Rs 100 crore are being done in the park of Jaipur.
