Jaisalmer: 600 couples will get married in auspicious times, business worth Rs 15 crore will be done

Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer Devotthan Ekadashi along with auspicious programs especially marriage ceremonies are being seen across the district including Jaisalmer city. Weddings started from 11-12th last, which will be held on Parwan on 22nd of the current month. On this day, more than 300 couples from rural areas along with the city will tie the knot by taking rounds around the fire. Similarly, in November itself, there are auspicious times for marriage on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 26th and 28th. The month of December itself will start with the pomp of weddings, which will continue till the middle because after that the month of Mal will begin.

The auspicious time for marriage is on 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, 15 in the month of December. Overall, more than 800 couples from urban and rural areas will embrace the important ritual of marriage and according to an estimate, there will be a business of more than Rs 15 crore in the market during this period. Next year, the auspicious dates for marriage in January are 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, and 27. After that, the auspicious dates for marriage in February are 2, 3, 6, 7, Auspicious times of 12, 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 21, 23, and 25 Are told.

It is noteworthy that after Diwali, the pomp and show of auspicious programs has started after Chaumasa which ended with Devotthan Ekadashi. Hundreds of families are leaving no stone unturned in organizing marriage ceremonies in these Savas. While last year there were very few auspicious times for marriages, this time there is no such shortage which has definitely brought relief to the people as they are getting the services of buildings, cooks and other workers etc. for marriage ceremonies with relative ease. Around 600 people will get married during this period. Manglik songs are being played in every house. Weddings have started becoming expensive in Jaisalmer city as well as in villages and local and expatriate people are showing inclination towards destination weddings and designer weddings. Big banquets, colorful costumes along with decoration of colorful lights are sure to make the venues of wedding events shine.
