Jaisalmer : Weekly review meeting of essential services like water, electricity, roads and medical etc. in Jaisalmer district was held on Monday in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of Collector Pratap Singh. The Collector said that there should be adequate and smooth supply of water and electricity at the district headquarters under all circumstances and no interruption will be tolerated in it. He said that electricity should be provided with full voltage at the drinking water source so that the production and storage of water can be facilitated. Did not decrease. He said that seasonal diseases like malaria and dengue should be controlled through strong medical management and adequate medicines should be available in all medical institutions. Collector Singh directed the officers to provide relief to the complainants by resolving the cases registered in the contact portal within the time limit.
He reviewed the cases registered in the portal in detail department-wise and directed that the cases pending for 61 days to 180 days should be resolved and brought to zero. The Collector instructed the departmental officers to ensure that the budget announcements of the department are implemented within the time limit and to take this work on priority. The Collector, while having a detailed discussion on the basic resources in the schools of the district, provided facilities without four walls and electricity. After reviewing the deprived schools block wise, instructions were given to construct boundary walls, provide electricity connections and construct toilets in all of them in a phased manner. Similarly, he was asked to develop boundary walls, water and electricity facilities in all the Anganwadi centers of the district. ADM Pawan Kumar along with departmental officers were present in the meeting.
