Jaisalmer News Desk: The body of a youth found hanging from a tree near Salkha village in Sam police station area of Jaisalmer district was taken by the family members from the mortuary. Earlier, postmortem of the body of deceased Kamal (25) was conducted. After Sama police station registered a case of murder of the youth, the family agreed and took the body home. It is noteworthy that on Tuesday night, 24-year-old Kamal Bhil, resident of Badabagh, was found hanging from a tree near Salkha village. Due to which a sensation spread. Sam police station officer Omprakash said that in this case the family members have registered a case in the Sam police station, suspecting murder. In which one person has been named as an accused. Kamal Bheel’s family agreed to take the dead body. Earlier on Wednesday, there was a deadlock throughout the day. The body was taken from the mortuary late Thursday evening and cremated.

It is noteworthy that on Wednesday, along with the family members of the deceased, a large number of other people gathered outside the mortuary of Jawahir Hospital and expressed suspicion of murder and refused to lift the body. Because of this, even the postmortem of the dead body could not be done. In this case, family members said that Kamal and his two other brothers had gone to Salkha village for harvesting. Five youths came to Salkha on bikes and started fighting with him.

Family members allege that after assaulting Kamal, he was hanged from a tree to make it look like suicide. Eventually the family agreed after the police registered a case of murder.
