Farmers warned that if electricity supply is not improved in the next three days, there will be a massive protest at 132 GSS. Farmers said – Due to complete breakdown of the electricity system in the district, voices of protest have been raised by farmers at various places. Farmers are angry due to deteriorating electricity system in agricultural areas. Despite twenty days having passed since the beginning of Rabi season, farmers are being given electricity supply only for three hours instead of six hours due to unannounced cut in the electricity supply at agricultural tube wells. Due to which farmers are facing huge losses. But it is not making any difference to the officials of the electricity department.

Hundreds of farmers present have given a memorandum to Lakha Junior Engineer Mahendra Kumar, giving him a three-day ultimatum and demanding to improve the undeclared three-hour power supply and start 6-hour power supply. Along with giving a memorandum to the District Collector through the police station officer, it was said that electricity is available only for three hours in Rabi season. Due to three hours electricity supply, it has become difficult to sow cumin crops on agricultural tube wells. Due to lack of good sowing of cumin, farmers will be burdened with debt and due to this, due to excessive debt, farmers will be forced to commit suicide. Farmers have written a memorandum.
