Jaisalmer : Due to technical problem in power supply, voltage problem is persisting at 11KV GSS operated from Khuiyala of Ramgarh tehsil of Jaisalmer district for about 15 days. Due to which farmers are incurring losses worth lakhs every day. Farmers reached GSS regarding the problem and submitted a memorandum to JEN warning them to close GSS. During this, farmers also raised slogans against Jodhpur Discom.
Farmers told that whoever gives information to any officer through telephone or other means, the officers turn a blind eye. If you tell the junior engineer, he will take the name of the assistant engineer and when he reaches the assistant engineer, he asks to inform the higher officer. If we talk to higher officials, they shrug it off by saying that it is Assistant Engineer level work. In this way, we are very upset. Farmers said that the voltage problem has persisted for the last 15 days but the officials are not paying any attention, due to which the farmers are facing huge losses. Farmers warned that if the electricity voltage problem is not resolved in time, they will carry out violent agitation. During this time, many farmers including Alsher Khan, Sohrab Khan, Rane Khan, Kalender Khan, Barkat Kohri, Mehrab Khan and Bhanwaruram from Khuiyala, Bandha, Kohari village, Tibansar and Kuchdi of the area were present.
