In such a situation, what to do if farmers do not protest?

Hundreds of farmers raised slogans

Actually, these days the sowing of Rabi crops etc. is going on. In such a situation, the electricity department is providing 6 hours of electricity to the farmers through tube wells. But the situation is such that farmers are not getting timely and sufficient electricity for farming, let alone domestic electricity. In such a situation, farmers are protesting at various places in the district. The power house SE office is surrounded every day. But the system has not improved yet. Due to which there is a lot of anger among the farmers. Farmers are expressing their displeasure against the government by protesting in front of GSS.

The protest will continue until there is improvement

Deputy District Head BK Barupal said – Our protest will continue until the farmers do not get adequate and timely electricity. Farmers are very upset and cannot bear to see their crops being damaged. The government is not able to provide electricity and the electricity that is coming does not even have voltage due to which the tube wells are not working. In such a situation, farmers’ crops are getting spoiled. If the government does not solve the electricity problem of the farmers in time, the movement will continue.
