Jaisalmer News Desk: A fire broke out in a house last night in Kalamo Bhil ki Dhani of Manasar Gram Panchayat of Phalsund police station area of Jaisalmer district, all the household items kept in it were burnt to ashes. The fire broke out in the house of poor laborer Gorkha Ram. The nearby villagers extinguished the fire with domestic resources after about 45 minutes of effort. But by then all the stuff kept in the house was burnt to ashes. It was fortunate that there was no loss of life. However, the cause of the fire has not been revealed. It is being told that the fire broke out due to short circuit. On receiving information about the fire, Phalsund police station also came to the spot and took information about the incident. Gorkharam was present in the house along with his 5 children at the time of the fire.
Fire extinguished in 45 minutes
Giving information from Phalsund, Vinod Sharma said that a sudden fire broke out in the house of Gorkharam last night in Kalamno Bhil ki Dhani of Manasar Gram Panchayat. Gorkharam was in the house with his wife and 5 children at the time of the fire. Seeing the sudden fire, Gorkha Ram ran out of the house along with everyone. When the neighbors saw the fire, they all started pouring water and mud and started trying to extinguish the fire. After about 45 minutes of hard work, the fire could be controlled, but by then all the things kept in the house were burnt to ashes. Although the exact cause of the fire could not be revealed, it is being said that the fire broke out due to short circuit. On receiving information about the fire, Phalsund police station also came to the spot and took information about the incident. Gorkha Ram is a poor laborer and the villagers have demanded help from the government for his huge loss.
