Jaisalmer : Railway’s IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has released a new plan for pilgrimage. This journey has been made keeping in mind the enthusiasm of the travelers regarding Mahakumbh. For Mahakumbh, a special train will run from Jaisalmer on 14th February which will facilitate the journey to Mahakumbh. This journey will end on 20th February. Two categories have been created for this special train. The fare for standard class is Rs 32,885/- per person. Apart from AC train, there will be facility of AC accommodation and bus. Whereas the fare for economy sleeper class has been kept at Rs 22,825/- per person, which will include non-AC facilities like travel, accommodation etc. Along with confirmed berths, hotel accommodation, catering services and transportation facilities will be provided in both the categories.

Joint General Manager of IRCTC, Yogendra Singh Gurjar told about the journey – This train will depart from Jaisalmer and reach Pokhran, Ramdevra, Lohawat, Osian, Jodhpur, Merta Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Taking passengers from Rewari, Delhi Kent, Mathura, Agra, it will go to Kashi Vishwanath-Varanasi, Prayagraj and Ayodhya. In this journey, the passengers will be taken to Kumbh Triveni Sangam, Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Ram Janmabhoomi Temple Hanumangarhi. Besides, Ganga Aarti will also be performed. Yogendra Singh Gurjar said that passengers will be able to take part in this Mahakumbh through IRCTC and along with this, facilities will be provided in the train from food to visiting pilgrimage sites.
The journey will take place in two different categories
Two different categories have been prepared by IRCTC for the convenience of passengers. The fare for standard class is Rs 32,885/- per person. Apart from AC train, there will be facility of AC accommodation and bus. This will be the travel schedule
This journey will depart from Jaisalmer on 14 February 2025 and take passengers from Pokaran, Ramdevra, Phalodi, Lohawat, Osian, Jodhpur, Merta Road, Degana, Makrana, Phulera, Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Delhi Kent, Mathura, Agra. Will reach Banaras in February. Here the travelers will be offered the darshan of Ganga Aarti and the night stay will be in Banaras. After breakfast on 16th February, passengers will be sent to Prayagraj by bus. After reaching Prayagraj, there will be arrangements for accommodation and food in tents in Mahakumbh village for the pilgrims.
Will provide overnight stay in tent
After the meal, the pilgrims will be sent for Kumbh and will also stay for the night in tents. On February 17, passengers will be taken to Varanasi via road. Here the travelers will be given darshan of Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Sankat Mochan, Hanuman Temple and Tulsi Manas Temple. Night stay will be in Varanasi only. They will be taken to Ayodhya by train on 18th February and after visiting Ram Janmabhoomi and Hanuman Garhi, the train will leave with the passengers and will reach Jaisalmer on 20th February.
