By indicating to do so, it has created a stir among the declared and undeclared contenders for the posts of Chairman and Councilor. At the same time, internal discussions among political parties regarding the upcoming Municipal Council elections have intensified. It is noteworthy that the tenure of the Chairman-Deputy Chairman of Jaisalmer Municipal Council and other 43 elected councilors is going to be completed on 25th or 26th November because the election of the Chairman was held on 26th November 2019 and the election of the Deputy Chairman was held the next day.
