Jaisalmer Police arrested absconding constable Pappuram from Phalodi.

Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer police station Lathi succeeded in catching Pappuram, a dismissed constable absconding in NDPS case, from Khara village of Phalodi. Lathi SHO Rajendra Khadav said – Pappuram (35) was absconding in a 6-month-old NDPS case of Pokaran police station. Pappuram has been arrested and investigation is going on regarding the drug trade. SHO Rajendra Khadav said – Pappuram is a dismissed constable. In May 2024, a smuggler was caught in the drug trade in Pokaran police station area. He had taken the name of Pappuram. Since then there was a search for Pappuram. Finally, after 6 months, we succeeded in catching him from Khara village of Phalodi.

The case of history-sheeter Mangilal absconding from custody was dismissed.

According to information received from police sources, in the year 2019, a history-sheeter named Mangilal Nokhada was brought before the court in the Mahamandir police station (Jodhpur) case. During that time Pappuram had brought constable Mangilal. During this time Mangilal had escaped from police custody. Which was investigated by the then Mahamandir police station SHO and current CO Pokaran Bhawani Singh. Constable Pappu Ram was dismissed in that case. It is being told that since then Pappuram got involved in drug business.

Drug smuggler had taken Pappuram’s name

In fact, on May 2024, smuggler Bhagirath Ram was caught in the drug trade in Pokaran police station area. Bhagirath Ram had also alleged the involvement of dismissed constable Pappuram in the drug trade. Pokaran police station was looking for him in the case of NDPS Act and Lathi police station SHO Rajendra Khadav was investigating the matter. Finally, after 6 months, constable Pappuram, dismissed from Phalodi, was caught in the NDPS case. He is being continuously interrogated regarding drug trade.
